In 2007, six individuals set out for the first 100 km Run for Your Life Ultra marathon. These athletes eventually formed the Pinoy Ultra Runners. Supported by The North Face, Recreational Outdoor Exchange ROX, and the UP Mountaineers, the team set out to promote and develop ultra marathon in the Philippines. The team promotes fitness and empowers athletes of all ages to set new goals and conquer new challenges. The Pinoy Ultra Runners Run for Your Life supports cause-oriented groups such as Kythe by generating much-needed funds but most of all by creating public awareness. Support the team and help change lives a kilometer at a time.
